The Fox Shocks Performance Series 2.0 IFP shock is engineered to elevate the performance of trucks and SUVs. Utilizing a hydraulic and nitrogen gas charged design, this shock features an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) mono-tube construction that effectively separates shock oil from the gas chamber, preventing oil aeration and ensuring consistent performance. The high flow damping piston, combined with application specific valving, delivers predictable ride quality even in challenging conditions.
Constructed from durable 6061-T6 aluminum, the shock body is impact extruded and CNC machined, providing resistance to rust and wear over time. The clear-anodized finish enhances durability while maintaining a sleek appearance. The shock is designed with a redundant sealing pack system that includes a main seal, wiper seal, and scraper seal, ensuring longevity and reliability.
With a 5/8 inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, this shock is built to withstand rigorous use. The use of JM92 advanced suspension fluid allows for improved performance across a range of temperatures, making it suitable for various driving conditions. The quiet nitrile rubber bushings facilitate increased suspension articulation, contributing to overall vehicle stability and comfort.
