The Fox Shocks Performance Hydraulic Shock Absorber features a precision metal impact aluminum body that enhances cooling capacity and resists rust over time. This shock absorber utilizes race-proven performance valving technology, ensuring optimal performance through its Internal Floating Piston (IFP) mono-tube design. The IFP effectively separates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen-charged gas chamber, eliminating oil aeration and maximizing the efficiency of the factory-tuned precision valving.
Designed for handling the most challenging road conditions, the shock absorber incorporates a race-developed high flow damping piston paired with application-specific valving. This combination delivers predictable ride quality, making it suitable for various vehicle applications. The durable construction includes a 2.0 inch impact extruded and CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum body, which is clear-anodized for added protection against wear and corrosion.
Additional features include a redundant sealing pack system that enhances reliability and performance, as well as a quiet nitrile rubber bushing that allows for increased suspension articulation. The use of JM92 advanced suspension fluid ensures improved performance across a range of temperatures, making this shock absorber a robust choice for demanding driving conditions.
