The Fox Shocks 3.0 Factory Series Shock Absorber is engineered for high-performance off-road applications, featuring a hydraulic and nitrogen gas charged design. This shock absorber utilizes patented position-sensitive internal bypass technology, which allows for enhanced damping control by regulating fluid flow during compression and rebound. This results in a smooth ride over rough terrain while effectively managing harsh impacts that can occur during extreme driving conditions.
Constructed from a 3.0 inch impact extruded and CNC machined 6061-T6 hard-anodized aluminum body, this shock absorber is lightweight and resistant to corrosion. The aluminum finned remote reservoir is designed to dissipate heat quickly, ensuring consistent performance even in demanding environments. The shock features a robust 7/8 inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, complemented by a redundant sealing pack system that prevents leaks and maintains performance integrity.
The Fox Shocks 3.0 Factory Series is equipped with JM92 advanced suspension fluid, which enhances performance across a wide temperature range. Additionally, the PTFE-lined, heat-treated alloy steel spherical bearings ensure quiet and smooth shock movement. This set of two shock absorbers is vehicle specific and includes adjustable valving for tailored performance, making it a reliable choice for serious off-road enthusiasts.
