The Fox 2.5 Performance Series HTO shock is engineered for improved on and off-road performance, featuring position sensitive technology and vehicle specific valving. Its robust 2-1/2 inch impact extruded aluminum body is designed to efficiently dissipate heat and resist corrosion, ensuring durability in various conditions. The internal floating piston (IFP) optimizes damping by separating the shock oil from high pressure nitrogen, enhancing overall performance.
Incorporating Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) technology, this shock provides position sensitive rebound damping control, which is particularly beneficial for vehicles with heavier tires or those lifted beyond OEM specifications. HTO minimizes harsh top outs and enhances ride comfort by controlling shock shaft speed through a secondary shim stack. This design allows for a smoother driving experience both on and off the pavement.
The Fox 2.5 Performance Series HTO shock is a bolt-on solution that increases damping capacity while maintaining ride comfort. With features such as high flow velocity sensitive damping and a 5/8 inch hard chrome shaft, this shock is built to meet the demands of serious off-road enthusiasts.
