The Fox Shocks 2.5 Performance Series HTO shock is engineered for improved on and off-road performance through its innovative design and technology. This shock features a 2-1/2 inch impact extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body that is type II anodized to resist corrosion and dissipate heat effectively. The internal floating piston (IFP) design optimizes damping by separating the shock oil from high pressure nitrogen, ensuring consistent performance under various conditions.
Incorporating Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) technology, this shock provides position sensitive rebound damping control, enhancing comfort and control on rough terrains. The HTO system minimizes harsh top outs by regulating shock oil flow through a secondary shim stack, which is particularly advantageous for vehicles equipped with heavier tires or those lifted beyond OEM specifications. The shock is designed for a bolt-on installation, making it a practical choice for vehicle-specific applications.
With features such as high flow velocity sensitive damping and a robust 5/8 inch hard chrome shaft, the Fox Shocks 2.5 Performance Series HTO shock is built to deliver reliable performance and durability.
