The Fox 2.5 Performance Series HTO shock is engineered for both on and off-road applications, featuring a robust hydraulic and nitrogen gas charged design. This shock utilizes position sensitive technology and vehicle specific valving to optimize performance, ensuring improved handling and comfort. The 2-1/2 inch impact extruded aluminum body is treated with type II anodized plating, providing excellent heat dissipation and corrosion resistance.
Incorporating an internal floating piston (IFP), this shock effectively separates the shock oil from high pressure nitrogen, enhancing damping capabilities. The Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) technology is a key feature, offering position sensitive rebound damping that reduces harsh top outs and improves ride quality. This is particularly advantageous for vehicles equipped with heavier tires or those lifted beyond OEM specifications.
