The Fox 2.5 Performance Series HTO shock is engineered for improved vehicle handling and comfort in various driving conditions. This shock features a robust 2-1/2 inch impact extruded aluminum body that is type II anodized to resist corrosion and dissipate heat effectively. The internal floating piston design optimizes damping by separating the shock oil from high-pressure nitrogen, ensuring consistent performance under load.
Incorporating Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) technology, this shock provides position-sensitive rebound damping control, which enhances comfort and reduces harsh top-outs. This feature is particularly advantageous for vehicles equipped with heavier tires or those lifted beyond OEM specifications. The high-flow velocity-sensitive damping system further contributes to a smoother ride, making it suitable for both on-road and off-road applications.
