The Fox 2.5 Performance Series shock absorber is engineered for improved vehicle handling both on and off road. Featuring vehicle specific valving and larger pistons, this shock provides enhanced performance without compromising OEM reliability. The monotube design utilizes type II anodized aluminum bodies, which effectively dissipate heat and resist corrosion, ensuring longevity and durability in various conditions.
With an adjustable lift range of 0 to 2 inches, the shock allows for leveling your vehicle while maintaining optimal ball joint and linkage performance. The internal floating piston (IFP) design separates the shock oil from high-pressure nitrogen, optimizing damping characteristics for a smoother ride. The 2.5 inch shock body is constructed from impact extruded 6061-T6 aluminum, providing strength and lightweight performance.
This shock absorber is equipped with high flow velocity sensitive damping and a 5/8 inch hard chrome shaft, contributing to its superior performance. The black and silver anodized finish not only enhances aesthetics but also adds to the corrosion resistance of the shock. The Fox 2.5 Performance Series is a single unit that includes all necessary mounting hardware for easy installation.
