The Fox Performance Elite Series 2.5 shock absorbers are engineered to enhance the performance of the 13th generation Ford F-150. These shocks eliminate the forward rake of the vehicle, providing a level ride height while improving suspension articulation. Constructed with a 2-1/2 inch aluminum body featuring Type III anodization, these shocks resist corrosion and wear, ensuring durability in various conditions.
Equipped with external reservoirs, the shock absorbers increase oil capacity and reduce harshness associated with nitrogen ramp-up. The Dual Speed Compression (DSC) adjusters allow for quick adaptation to different loads and driving environments, enhancing stability across diverse terrains. The high-flow piston design ensures consistent damping forces, contributing to improved on-road manners and off-road capability.
Each shock features application-specific valving and a redundant sealing pack system, which includes a main seal, wiper seal, and scraper seal, to maximize performance and longevity. The 7/8 inch hard chrome-plated steel shafts and application-specific springs further enhance the shock's reliability and effectiveness.
