The Flowmaster Exhaust Muffler 40 Series Delta Flow features a two chamber design that utilizes advanced Delta Flow technology. This innovative design incorporates deflectors that enhance exhaust scavenging, resulting in improved performance while minimizing interior sound levels. The muffler produces a milder exterior tone and significantly reduces interior resonance compared to standard 40 series models. Constructed from durable 16 gauge 409S stainless steel, this muffler is fully MIG welded to ensure maximum durability and longevity.
With a center single inlet measuring 3 inches and dual offset outlets of 2-1/2 inches, this muffler is designed for versatility in various applications, including street, strip, and off-road use. The semi-universal fit allows for easier installation, although modifications to the exhaust system may be necessary. The overall length of the muffler is 19 inches, with a case diameter of 9-3/4 inches by 4 inches, making it suitable for a range of vehicle types. This product does not include an exhaust tip, allowing for customization based on user preference.
