The FLIR Systems Night Vision Camera is a compact thermal imaging device designed specifically for marine applications. This system enhances navigation and collision avoidance during nighttime operations by detecting objects in darkness, fog, and midday glare. With a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, it can identify a 30-foot outboard vessel from a distance of 1 nautical mile, ensuring safety and awareness on the water.
This fixed mount camera operates on a 12 to 24 volt DC power supply and features a nominal power consumption of 4.8 watts, with a maximum of 12.5 watts. It is built to withstand harsh marine environments, boasting an IPX6 water ingress protection rating. The camera can function effectively in temperatures ranging from -25 to 55 degrees Celsius, making it suitable for various weather conditions.
The FLIR Night Vision Camera supports both ball up and ball down mounting options, providing flexibility in installation. Users can easily integrate the analog video output into most multifunction displays on their vessels. Additionally, the camera offers digital zoom capabilities and multiple control options, allowing for enhanced usability and adaptability to different operational needs.
