The Flex-A-Lite Cooling Fan Speed Control is designed to optimize engine cooling by monitoring coolant temperature as it flows into the radiator. This system provides precise thermostatic control over electric fans, adjusting fan speed from 60 percent to 100 percent based on real-time cooling demand. The included screw-in temperature sensor features a 1/4 Inch NPT threaded probe, which can be easily fitted to in-line hose adapters or directly into the engine for accurate temperature readings.
This cooling fan control kit is rated for 45 amps and operates effectively within a temperature range of 160 to 220 degrees Fahrenheit. It includes thread adapters for 3/8 Inch NPT and 1/2 Inch NPT, ensuring compatibility with various installations. Additionally, a heavy-duty fuse block and fuse are included, enhancing the reliability and safety of the system. The wiring harness provided simplifies installation, making it a practical choice for those looking to improve their vehicle's cooling efficiency.
