This innovative shackle mount replaces traditional winch hooks, which can damage recovery straps and allow strap ends to escape during use. The FlatLink XTV features a secure screw pin attachment that prevents strap loops from escaping, ensuring a safer recovery process.
Constructed from precision machined 6000 series aluminum and 6Al-4V titanium, the FlatLink XTV is built to withstand demanding conditions. It accommodates both steel cables and synthetic ropes up to 5/16 inch, making it versatile for various winching applications. The mount is equipped with a 7/16 inch diameter titanium double shear pin and internal snap ring for secure cable retention, and it can be installed quickly and easily.
The FlatLink XTV includes EPDM rubber guards that protect alloy fairleads and cushion line stowage, preventing damage during operation. It is designed to stow neatly against roller or Hawse type fairleads and is compatible with standard 1/2 to 5/8 inch shackles. With a maximum load rating of 8000 pounds and an ultimate failure rating exceeding 28,000 pounds, the FlatLink XTV is a robust solution for winching needs.
