The Factor 55 FlatLink Winch Cable Shackle Mount is engineered to replace traditional winch hooks with a more secure and robust solution. This innovative folding shackle mount is the first of its kind in the industry, designed to work seamlessly with all roller fairlead license plate mounting brackets. With a compact thickness of less than 1.75 inches when folded, it minimizes space while maximizing functionality.
Constructed from precision-machined 6000 series aluminum, the FlatLink is compatible with both steel cables and synthetic winch ropes up to 3/8 inch in diameter. Its design includes a 5/8 inch diameter grade 5 steel double shear pin and an internal snap ring, ensuring that the cable eye remains securely in place during operation. The EPDM rubber guards provide additional protection for alloy fairleads and help cushion line stowage, reducing wear and tear.
This winch accessory eliminates the common issues associated with conventional winch hooks, such as strap fraying and escape during slack cycles. The secure screw pin attachment of the FlatLink prevents strap loops from escaping, enhancing safety during recovery operations. Installation is straightforward and can be completed in minutes, making it a practical addition to any winching setup.
