The Factor 55 FlatLink E is a sophisticated winch shackle mount designed to replace conventional winch hooks with a more secure screw pin shackle. This innovative design promotes a closed system winching operation, enhancing safety during recovery tasks. The FlatLink E features a large pear-shaped shackle mounting hole, allowing compatibility with both the pin and bow ends of standard screw pin shackles as well as OEM recovery points, making it a versatile addition to any recovery setup.
Constructed from precision-machined 6061-T6 Kaiser aluminum, the FlatLink E is built to withstand demanding conditions. It has a load capacity of 16,000 pounds and an ultimate failure rating exceeding 40,000 pounds, ensuring reliability in critical situations. The powder-coated OD green finish provides additional durability and corrosion resistance, while the EPDM rubber guard protects fairleads and cushions line stow, effectively eliminating hook rattle and potential fairlead damage.
When folded flat, the FlatLink E measures less than 1.75 inches in thickness, making it easy to store and transport. It is compatible with all roller fairlead license plate mounting brackets, further enhancing its utility.
