The Factor 55 FlatLink E is a refined version of the standard FlatLink winch shackle mount, designed to replace traditional winch hooks with a more secure screw pin shackle. This innovation promotes a closed system winching operation, enhancing safety and efficiency. The large pear-shaped mounting hole accommodates both the pin and bow ends of common screw pin shackles, as well as OEM recovery points, making it a versatile addition to your recovery gear.
Constructed from precision-machined 6000 series billet aluminum, the FlatLink E is built to withstand demanding conditions with a load capacity of 16000 pounds. Its anodized finish in orange not only provides visibility but also adds a layer of protection against wear. The EPDM rubber guard effectively protects alloy fairleads and cushions line stowage, while the design minimizes hook rattle and potential fairlead damage.
When folded flat, the FlatLink E measures less than 1.75 inches in thickness, ensuring it remains unobtrusive when not in use. The simple snap ring removal feature allows for easy access to the shear pin, facilitating maintenance and ensuring reliability during operations.
