The Factor 55 FlatLink E is a sophisticated winch cable shackle mount designed to replace traditional winch hooks with a more secure screw pin shackle. This innovative design promotes a closed system winching operation, enhancing safety and efficiency during recovery tasks. The FlatLink E features a large pear-shaped mounting hole that accommodates both the pin and bow ends of standard screw pin shackles, as well as OEM recovery points, making it a versatile addition to any recovery setup.
Constructed from precision-machined 6000 series billet aluminum, the FlatLink E is both lightweight and durable, with an anodized blue finish that provides additional protection against wear. The mount is compatible with all roller fairlead license plate mounting brackets and, when folded flat, measures less than 1.75 inches in thickness, allowing for easy storage. An EPDM rubber guard is included to protect alloy fairleads and cushion line stowage, further enhancing the utility of this product.
The FlatLink E eliminates hook rattle and minimizes fairlead damage, ensuring a smoother operation during winching. With a load capacity of 16,000 pounds and compatibility with both 3/8 inch steel cables and synthetic winch ropes, this mount is engineered for high-performance applications. The simple snap ring removal feature allows for easy shear pin replacement, making maintenance straightforward and efficient.
