Fabtech's Uniball Upper Control Arms are engineered to provide increased strength to the front suspension by replacing the stock ball joint upper arms. These components are designed to withstand the rigors of aggressive offroad use, ensuring longevity in rugged conditions. The construction features 0.120 Inch wall 1.250 Inch Outer Diameter 4130 Chromoly tubing, which significantly reduces flex compared to stock arms, resulting in improved road feel and handling.
In addition to their robust design, these upper control arms incorporate additional caster for enhanced alignment capabilities, particularly beneficial when using oversized tires. The 17-4 Stainless Steel heat treated Uniball pins are designed to fit into the factory ball joint tapers without requiring modifications to the spindle, facilitating an easy return to stock configuration if needed. Furthermore, the use of 17-4 Stainless Steel for the misalignments ensures proper clearance of the 1 Inch Uniballs throughout the suspension travel range.
Quality urethane bushings are included on the frame side of the upper arms, which help to minimize road noise while contributing to the overall durability of the components.
