Fabtech's Uniball Upper Control Arms are engineered to provide enhanced strength and durability to the front suspension of vehicles, particularly under aggressive offroad conditions. By replacing the stock ball joint upper arms, these components mitigate the risk of wear and failure, ensuring reliable performance over time. The design incorporates additional caster, which improves alignment capabilities when using oversized tires, making them suitable for both offroad and on-road applications.
Constructed from high-quality materials, these upper control arms feature 0.120 inch wall 1.50 inch outer diameter 4130 Chromoly tubing, which significantly reduces flex compared to stock arms, resulting in a more positive road feel. The inclusion of 1 inch FK Stainless PTFE lined Uniballs and 17-4 Stainless Steel heat treated Uniball pins allows for a seamless fit into factory ball joint tapers, facilitating an easy return to stock configuration if needed. Furthermore, the use of 17-4 Stainless Steel for misalignments ensures proper clearance throughout the suspension travel range.
To enhance longevity and reduce road noise, the upper arms are equipped with quality urethane bushings on the frame side.
