The shock features a twin-tube hydraulic construction that includes a hardened chrome piston rod and a closed cell foam insert, which minimizes shock fade during high-speed conditions. With high flow 9-stage valving, these shocks deliver excellent dampening capabilities, ensuring a smooth ride over various terrains.

The design of the twin-tube shock absorber consists of an inner pressure tube and an outer reserve tube. The inner tube houses the valving components and generates the damping forces, while the outer tube serves as a reservoir for fluid displaced during compression. This configuration allows for efficient performance and responsiveness, making it suitable for a range of applications.

The Fabtech Performance Shock is a single unit that is semi-universal, featuring eyelet mounting styles on both the upper and lower ends. It is constructed from durable materials, including stainless steel for the body and steel for the rod, ensuring longevity and reliability. This shock absorber is not adjustable and does not include additional components such as dust shields or boots, focusing on delivering essential performance features.
