The Expion 360 85 Ampere MPPT Bluetooth Programmable Solar Charge Controller is designed for optimal performance in solar energy systems. This controller utilizes maximum power point tracking (MPPT) technology, which enhances efficiency by up to 99.9 percent, making it suitable for larger solar installations in various applications such as RVs, marine vessels, and off-grid homes. Its advanced circuitry ensures high internal conversion efficiency, reaching up to 98 percent, which maximizes the energy harvested from solar panels.
This solar charge controller features Bluetooth connectivity, allowing users to customize charge profiles for different battery chemistries, including Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) and lead-acid batteries. The controller is equipped with a thermal protection circuit that regulates performance under high ambient temperatures, ensuring reliable operation. Additionally, it includes active voltage stabilization to protect against sudden open circuits at the battery BMS controller, enhancing the safety and longevity of the battery system.
With a robust design that includes a large aluminum heat sink for effective cooling, the Expion 360 solar charge controller is built to handle up to 4400 watts of power. Its digital display and LED indicators provide real-time information, making it easy to monitor system performance. The controller is also parallel compatible with additional charge controllers, allowing for increased current handling in larger setups.
