Its innovative design reduces weight and inertia, resulting in improved engine response and efficiency.
This flywheel features integrated ring gear teeth, eliminating the risk of separation that can occur with aluminum flywheels. It has successfully passed rigorous engineering tests at RPMs ranging from 15,000 to 18,000, ensuring reliability and performance under demanding conditions. The SFI approval further guarantees its safety and durability for competitive use.
With a clutch diameter of 11 inches and a weight of 16.1 pounds, the Exedy Lightweight Flywheel is compatible with 1996 to 2016 Ford Mustang models equipped with 4.6L or 5.0L engines.
