The Exedy Clutch Set Stage 1 features a 230 millimeter clutch diameter and is designed for enhanced performance in modified engines. Utilizing premium organic friction materials, this clutch set is resistant to slippage and burst, ensuring reliable operation under increased clamp loads. The diaphragm pressure plate design provides a static pressure of 2383 pounds, allowing for effective torque holding capacity of 472 feet/pound.
This single disc clutch includes a sprung hub and is equipped with spring center dampers to minimize drivetrain shock, maintaining drivability similar to stock clutches. The full face design ensures superior half-engagement feeling, which is characteristic of organic materials. The Exedy Clutch Set is SFI 1.1 certified, making it suitable for both street and light horsepower track applications.
Included in the package are the pressure plate, clutch disc, throwout bearing, and alignment tool, providing a complete solution for your clutch replacement needs. Note that this clutch set requires the Exedy Clutch Flywheel part number FF02, depending on the specific application.
