The twin plate clutches are rated for approximately 500 Foot Pound, ensuring robust performance under demanding conditions.
The Clutch Disc features both spring damper discs and solid discs, depending on the specific application requirements. Each unit is accompanied by a lightweight, chromoly steel flywheel and a distinctive purple anodized forged aluminum clutch cover, enhancing both durability and aesthetics. The use of T5001 cerametallic friction materials provides extreme heat resistance, ensuring consistent performance even in high-stress situations.
For applications requiring enhanced performance, Exedy offers both strap drive and lug drive models. It is important to note that while the twin plate clutches are suitable for street use, the triple plate versions are designed exclusively for racing and are not recommended for street applications.
