The Egis Battery Disconnect Switch is designed for marine applications, providing reliable performance in a compact footprint. With a continuous capability of 500 amps and a maximum cranking current of 1500 amps, this rotary switch operates efficiently within a voltage range of 8 to 36 volts DC. It features a robust construction with stainless steel self-locking hardware, ensuring durability in harsh marine environments.
This switch includes intuitive front-facing manual override knobs, allowing users to lock relays in either the ON or OFF position for servicing. The flexible functionality is enhanced by dip switches that enable the switch to function as a relay, battery disconnect, voltage sensing relay, or low voltage disconnect. Local and remote LED indicators provide clear visual status, enhancing usability and safety.
Designed to withstand extreme temperatures from -40 to 105 degrees Celsius, the Egis Battery Disconnect Switch is equipped with a high-quality Gortex vent that regulates internal pressure and prevents moisture entry. This ensures long product life and reliable operation, making it a superior alternative to legacy remote switching solutions.
