The Diode Dynamics Backup Light Wiring Harness is designed specifically for the C1R Series Backup Light, providing a seamless connection to the 7-pin connector located behind your vehicle's bumper. This harness enables the operation of C1R Hitch Mount LED pods, allowing them to function as an additional red accent light alongside your tail lights. It also activates a fourth brake light whenever the brakes are applied, enhancing visibility and safety on the road.

When the vehicle is placed in reverse, the harness automatically switches to a high-power backup light, ensuring optimal illumination for reversing maneuvers. Additionally, the harness includes an optional brake light strobing feature, which can be activated to flash the C1R LED pod three times upon brake application, further increasing visibility to other drivers. This feature can be easily disabled if not required.
