The Dexter Marine Trailer Axle is engineered for strength and longevity, featuring a straight axle design with a 2000 pound capacity. Its 75 inch hub face to face length and 80 inch overall length make it suitable for various trailer configurations. The axle is constructed from a 2 inch galvanized square tube, providing superior protection against corrosion, particularly in marine environments.
This axle incorporates an EZ Lube system, which includes zerk fittings at the ends of the spindles, facilitating straightforward greasing and re-greasing of the hubs. The design also features a stainless steel wear sleeve on each spindle, enhancing durability and performance. Additionally, the axle is equipped with a pre-drilled 5/16 inch drain hole to prevent water accumulation.
The hot dipped galvanized steel beam ensures that the axle will outlast painted alternatives, making it a reliable choice for boat trailers and other marine applications. With slight camber present in the welds of the spindles, this axle is designed to provide stability and support during operation.
