The Dexter Marine Trailer Axle is engineered for strength and longevity, featuring a straight axle design with a 2000-pound capacity. Its 69-inch hub face to face length and 73-1/2 inch overall length make it suitable for various trailer configurations. The axle is constructed from a 2-inch galvanized square tube, providing superior resistance to corrosion and rust, making it ideal for marine environments.
This axle incorporates an EZ Lube system, allowing for efficient bearing re-greasing through zerk fittings located at the ends of both spindles. This design eliminates the need to remove the hubs for maintenance, enhancing convenience and reducing downtime. The stainless steel wear sleeves on the spindles further extend the lifespan of the axle by minimizing wear and tear.
Additional features include a pre-drilled 5/16 inch drain hole and a slight camber present in the welds of the spindles, which contribute to the overall performance and durability of the axle. The hot dipped galvanized steel beam ensures that the axle can withstand harsh conditions, making it a reliable choice for trailer applications.
