The Dexter Marine Trailer Axle is engineered for strength and longevity, featuring a straight axle design with a 2000 pound capacity. Its 55 inch hub face to face length and 60 inch overall length make it suitable for various trailer configurations. The galvanized finish provides superior protection against corrosion and rust, making it ideal for marine environments where exposure to salt and fresh water is common.
This axle incorporates an EZ Lube system, allowing for efficient bearing re-greasing through zerk fittings located at the ends of both spindles. This design eliminates the need to remove the hubs for maintenance, enhancing convenience and reducing downtime. The stainless steel wear sleeves on the spindles further contribute to the durability and performance of the axle.
With a flange-less design and a slight camber present in the welds of the spindles, this axle is built to withstand the rigors of trailer use. The hot dipped galvanized steel beam combats corrosion effectively, ensuring a longer lifespan compared to painted alternatives. Additionally, the pre-drilled 5/16 inch drain hole aids in moisture management, further enhancing the axle's reliability.
