The Dexter Marine Trailer Axle is engineered for strength and longevity, featuring a straight axle design with a 2000-pound capacity. Its 49-inch hub face to face length and 53-1/2 inch overall length make it suitable for various trailer configurations. The axle is constructed from a 2-inch galvanized square tube, providing superior resistance to corrosion, especially in marine environments.
This axle incorporates an EZ Lube system, which includes zerk fittings at the ends of the spindles, facilitating straightforward greasing and re-greasing of the hubs. The design also features a stainless steel wear sleeve on each spindle, enhancing durability and performance. Additionally, the slight camber present in the welds of the spindles contributes to improved handling and stability.
With a hot dipped galvanized steel beam, this axle is built to withstand harsh conditions, making it a reliable choice for boat trailers and other marine applications. The pre-drilled 5/16 inch drain hole allows for effective water drainage, further protecting the axle from potential damage.
