The Dexter Marine Trailer Axle is engineered for reliable performance in marine environments, featuring a straight axle design with a capacity of 1200 pounds. Constructed from a 1-1/2 inch galvanized square tube, this axle is built to withstand exposure to both fresh and salt water, ensuring longevity and durability. The hot dipped galvanized finish provides superior corrosion resistance compared to traditional painted axles, making it suitable for trailers hauling jet skis, snowmobiles, and small boats.
This axle includes a pre-drilled 5/16 inch drain hole that facilitates water drainage, preventing moisture accumulation within the tube. The EZ Lube spindle design incorporates Zerk fittings at both ends of the spindles, allowing for straightforward bearing lubrication. Additionally, the axle features a slight camber in the welds of the spindles, enhancing stability during operation. With a hub face to hub face length of 51-1/4 inches and a total length of 56 inches, this axle is designed for easy installation and compatibility with various trailer configurations.
