The Derale Oil Thermostat is designed for optimal control of engine oil and transmission fluid temperatures. It features a 180 degrees Fahrenheit turn-on temperature, allowing the oil to bypass the cooler until the ideal operating temperature is reached. Once activated, the internal thermostatic valve directs 100 percent of the oil through the cooler, ensuring efficient heat management and maintaining a constant pressure system.
Constructed from durable aluminum, this thermostat includes 3/8 inch NPT inlet and outlet ports, providing compatibility with various systems. It can flow up to 20 gallons per minute and is rated for 200 PSI, making it suitable for high-performance applications. The unit can also be rotated 180 degrees to switch the flow direction, offering flexibility in installation.
