The Derale Fluid Cooler Series 9000 is engineered for effective transmission fluid cooling, featuring a robust plate and fin construction that surpasses traditional tube and fin designs. With dimensions of 10-1/8 inches in width, 11-7/8 inches in height, and a depth of 1-1/4 inches, this cooler is suitable for light to medium duty applications, including occasional towing. The unit is designed to prevent heat-related transmission failures, significantly extending the life of the transmission and enhancing overall performance.
This cooler incorporates 1-1/4 inch wide plates and embossed turbulators that optimize heat transfer while minimizing pressure drop. It is equipped with 1/2 inch NPT female cooler ports and comes with necessary brass hose barb adapters, high pressure and high temperature hose, an Insta-Dapt radiator adapter, and complete mounting hardware for straightforward installation on vehicles with 5/16 inch transmission cooler lines.
