The CURT Class 3 Trailer Hitch Ball Mount is designed for heavy-duty towing applications, accommodating a variety of trailers including utility, boat, and recreational vehicle trailers. This ball mount features a 2 inch by 2 inch shank and offers a robust weight capacity, making it suitable for pickup trucks and SUVs. It can be utilized in either a drop position, providing an 8 inch drop with a gross trailer weight capacity of 5000 pounds and a tongue weight capacity of 500 pounds, or in a rise position with a 6 inch rise, supporting a gross trailer weight of 3500 pounds and a tongue weight of 350 pounds.
Constructed from durable steel, this ball mount is CNC formed and robotically welded to ensure precision and strength. The surface is mechanically descaled for a smooth finish, and it is protected by a gloss black powder coat to resist corrosion, scratches, and UV damage. With a shank length of 11-1/2 inches and a 1 inch hole to accept a trailer ball shank, this ball mount is engineered for a secure fit and reliable performance. Its non-swivel and non-extendable design further enhances its stability during towing.
