The Covercraft WeatherShield HP Car Cover is engineered for both indoor and outdoor vehicle protection, utilizing a high-performance fabric developed in collaboration with Nextec Applications, Inc. This innovative material features a unique encapsulation process that enhances durability while maintaining breathability, ensuring that heat and moisture can escape easily. The cover is designed to shed water upon contact, providing superior rain dispersion and a quick drying time, allowing users to simply shake the cover to remove moisture.
Constructed from woven polyester fabric, the WeatherShield HP is lightweight yet robust, making it easy to handle and store. Its compact design allows it to pack into roughly one-third the volume of traditional multi-layer fabric covers, enhancing portability. The automotive-grade dyes used in the cover are fade-resistant, ensuring long-lasting color retention even under harsh weather conditions.
In addition to its protective features, the WeatherShield HP is designed to safeguard the vehicle's paint finish, utilizing silicone polymers that are less abrasive than flannel. This cover includes two mirror pockets for added convenience and is suitable for notchback coupes and convertibles. With easy care instructions, this cover can be washed and dried at home, making maintenance straightforward.
