The Covercraft WeatherShield HD Car Cover is engineered to provide superior protection for vehicles in intense sun environments and during long-term storage. This cover is custom-fitted to follow the exact contours of the vehicle body, ensuring that it protects the sheet metal effectively while extending halfway down the tires. Unlike universal covers, the tailored design minimizes movement in windy conditions, enhancing its protective capabilities.
Constructed from solution dyed woven polyester fabric, the WeatherShield HD offers exceptional durability and performance. It features UV opacity, repels water, and blocks dust, tree sap, and bird droppings, while remaining breathable to allow moisture and heat to escape. The 300 denier fabric is 40 percent heavier than the standard WeatherShield, providing double the tear and tensile strength, making it suitable for harsh environments.
The patented immersion encapsulation process further enhances the fabric's protective qualities, ensuring that the WeatherShield HD stands up to the rigors of outdoor exposure. This cover is designed for hatchback and fastback sedan vehicles and includes mirror pockets for added convenience. Optional accessories such as a storage bag and a lockable cable kit are available to enhance the user experience.
