The Borgeson Power Steering Conversion Kit is designed specifically for 1958 to 1964 full size Chevy vehicles. This integral power steering conversion utilizes a remanufactured GM Delphi 600 gearbox, which represents the latest advancements in power steering technology. With a quick 14:1 ratio, this system provides a modern steering feel and improved feedback, enhancing the driving experience.
This conversion kit is engineered to bolt directly to the factory mounting location, ensuring compatibility with the stock pitman arm. A new universal joint and steering shaft are included to facilitate connection to the stock steering column. For vehicles originally equipped with factory power steering, a drag link adapter or manual center link will be necessary for proper installation.
By replacing the outdated and often leaky control valve, the Borgeson conversion allows drivers to experience a more responsive and reliable steering system.
