The BMR Suspension Tunnel Mount Torque Arm is engineered to improve handling and reduce wheel hop in 4th-Gen GM F-body vehicles. Constructed from heavy-duty 1.25 inch, 0.120 inch wall DOM steel tubing, this torque arm offers significant strength and adjustability compared to the factory stamped steel version. The design features a 95-durometer polyurethane bushing at the front mount, ensuring long-lasting and quiet operation.
This torque arm utilizes the rear factory mounting locations and incorporates heavy-duty rod ends for enhanced performance. The adjustable instant center and pinion angle can be fine-tuned using five positions on the torque arm cross member, which is complemented by a CNC machined 4130 Chrome-moly adjuster. By mounting to the transmission tunnel instead of the tail shaft, this design alleviates stress on the transmission, making it suitable for high-horsepower applications.
Additionally, the torque arm cross member reinforces the transmission tunnel, increasing floor strength while providing an adjustable mounting plate for the torque arm. The MIG-welded construction ensures durability and reliability under demanding conditions.
