The stepped bus design of the PowerBar 1000 allows for two elevations for conductors, effectively doubling the density of the wire loom compared to traditional bus bars. This design not only enhances organization but also facilitates the attachment of multiple fuse blocks without the need for additional connecting cables. The one-piece serrated flange nuts and stainless steel screws with captive lock washers provide secure connections for smaller gauge wires, ensuring reliability in performance.
Additionally, the bi-directional end caps enable the ganging of additional busbars, allowing for scalability in wiring systems. The snap-on insulating cover meets ABYC and USCG requirements, providing safety and protection while featuring a label recess for easy identification.
