The Blue Sea Battery Disconnect Switch Panel is designed for mounting m-Series battery switches, providing a robust solution for managing battery circuits in marine and specialized vehicle applications. With dimensions of 4-1/2 inches in width, 7-1/2 inches in height, and 3-1/4 inches in depth, this panel is engineered to accommodate dual battery setups while ensuring optimal performance under demanding conditions.
This panel operates at 24 volts DC and supports up to 300 amps, making it suitable for high-power applications. It features an integrated m-Series Mini Dual Circuit Plus Battery Switch and includes two push button reset only quick connect circuit breakers rated at 15 amps and 100 amps, respectively. This configuration allows for effective isolation of the engine circuit from the house circuit, enhancing safety and reliability.
The Blue Sea Battery Disconnect Switch Panel also facilitates emergency cross connection between isolated battery banks, ensuring that users can maintain power in critical situations. Additionally, it protects sensitive electronics from voltage sags and spikes that can occur during engine cranking, thereby extending the lifespan of connected devices and systems.
