The Blue Sea Battery Charger is designed to efficiently charge AGM, flooded lead-acid, and TPPL batteries with a robust 20 Ampere output. This multistage charger supports both AC and DC charging, allowing users to charge two isolated battery banks at the dock or share DC power from the alternator while away from the dock. The integrated 170 Ampere Automatic Charging Relay (ACR) ensures seamless power distribution between the start and auxiliary batteries, enhancing overall system reliability.
This charger features battery temperature compensation, which helps prolong battery life by adjusting the charging process based on temperature variations. Additionally, the start isolation feature protects sensitive electronics from voltage sags and spikes, ensuring safe operation. The emergency parallel function allows for remote jump-starting by combining both batteries if the start battery is low, providing added convenience in critical situations.
Constructed with one-piece stainless flange nuts, the charger ensures secure and safe connections, minimizing the risk of disconnection during operation.
