The Bilstein SNS 2 Series Shock Absorber is engineered for motorsports applications, featuring a robust 46 millimeter steel body and innovative base valve technology. This design allows for ultra-low rod pressures, eliminating gas preload and enhancing fade-free performance. The precision-balanced base valve provides superior grip on slick tracks, ensuring optimal track feel and control.
Constructed with a 14 millimeter case hardened stainless steel chrome shaft, this shock absorber minimizes seal drag and friction while resisting damage from stones and debris. The monotube design with a free-floating divider piston maximizes heat transfer and dissipation, preventing fading and cavitation during intense use. The SNS2-BV design allows for easy disassembly and balancing of the base valve piston, ensuring precise fluid control and performance tuning.
This non-adjustable damping shock absorber has an extended length of 19.80 inches and a collapsed length of 12.99 inches, making it suitable for a variety of racing setups. The modular design is racer rebuildable and can be upgraded to a big bulb design for increased nitrogen chamber capacity, further enhancing performance capabilities.
