With a streamlined low resistance shape, it offers a significant grounding area of 48 to 1 for its size, delivering 34 percent more grounding capability compared to other available plates.
Installation is straightforward with a two-step thru-hull process, making it accessible for various marine applications. The ground shoe is compliant with ABYC standards and includes a gold plated terminal mounting bolt along with bronze mounting nuts for a secure connection. This design not only deters electrolysis and galvanic corrosion but also minimizes RF interference, enhancing the overall performance of onboard electronics.
The BEP Marine Ground Shoe is equivalent to 12 square feet of copper foil, providing an efficient alternative for hull bonding without the need for extensive runs of copper foil. Its low drag, non-fouling shape ensures easy maintenance, allowing for cleaning with a wire brush to maintain optimal performance.
