Belltech Drop Spindle Set is designed to provide a 2 inch drop while preserving the integrity of your vehicle's suspension and steering geometry. This innovative product, developed in 1983, revolutionized the Sport Truck market by allowing for a lower center of gravity without compromising ride quality. Crafted from powder coated, high strength ductile iron castings, these spindles ensure durability and meet or exceed factory specifications.
The design of the Belltech Drop Spindles allows for the fitment of smaller diameter wheels, specifically 15 to 16 inches, which were popular at the time of their inception. By relocating the spindle pin higher on the spindle casting, these spindles effectively lower the vehicle while maintaining factory geometry and alignment. This results in improved handling and reduced wear on critical components such as ball joints and shocks.
Each set includes two spindles that can be directly bolted onto your vehicle, making installation straightforward. The spindles also increase the track width of your vehicle by approximately 0.45 inches per side, enhancing stability. They are compatible with factory ball joints and tie rod ends, and can be combined with lowering springs, air bags, or coilovers for a more aggressive drop.
