The enhancements lead to improved oil flow, which effectively reduces temperatures and lowers torque converter evacuation time, resulting in quicker clutch application.
With this innovative design, the BD valve body achieves up to 80 percent higher clutch apply pressures compared to the stock unit, and up to 50 percent higher than competing products. This increase in pressure begins at lower engine RPMs and with lighter throttle pedal movements, ensuring that light throttle shift firmness is preserved. The valve body is compatible with the 518 transmission model and supports automatic shifting with a standard shift pattern, making it a practical choice for those looking to enhance their vehicle's transmission performance.
