This DPF-back exhaust system features 5 inch mandrel-bent Aluminized Steel tubing, designed to enhance exhaust flow and reduce backpressure significantly. The system includes a patented ob-round slash-cut exhaust tip that directs exhaust gases away from trailers, minimizing the risk of heat damage during regeneration cycles.
With a 15 percent reduction in exhaust temperature two feet behind the tip during regeneration, the Monster Exhaust ensures safer towing conditions. The design aims to diffuse heated gases into the ambient air, preventing the prolonged jet-like blast of super-heated exhaust that can affect towed items. This innovative approach addresses common concerns among Duramax owners regarding trailer melting due to excessive heat.
Constructed without a muffler, the system maintains a moderate sound level while providing an efficient exhaust path.
