The Banks Power Monster Diesel Exhaust System is engineered for the 2020 to 2022 GM 6.6L Duramax L5P 2500/3500 HD pickup trucks. This DPF-back exhaust system features 5 Inch mandrel-bent Aluminized Steel tubing, designed to optimize exhaust flow and minimize backpressure. The innovative design includes a patented ob-round slash-cut stainless steel tip that directs exhaust gases away from trailers, significantly reducing the risk of heat damage during regeneration cycles.
With a 15 percent reduction in exhaust temperature just two feet behind the tip, this system effectively manages the high temperatures associated with diesel particulate filter regeneration. The exhaust is aimed to the side of the vehicle, allowing ambient air to cool the gases before they reach any towed equipment.
