The Banks Power Diesel Particulate Filter Back System is designed to optimize exhaust flow and enhance engine performance. Constructed from 5 inch aluminized steel, this constant-diameter exhaust system features mandrel-bent tubing that minimizes backpressure, allowing the engine to breathe more efficiently. By reducing backpressure by up to 9 percent at the turbine inlet, this system improves throttle response and fuel economy.
This exhaust system is equipped with a patented negative-backpressure Sidekick tip, which is a significant feature that contributes to its performance. The system includes a large 6-1/2 inch x 7-1/2 inch ob-round slash-cut exhaust tip finished in Cerakote black, ensuring durability and resistance to discoloration from heat. The design eliminates the need for a muffler, further enhancing exhaust flow and performance.
Installation is straightforward, requiring no welding and including all necessary hardware. The exhaust exits on the passenger side behind the tire, providing a clean and efficient look.
