The Banks Power Derringer Performance Tuning Module is designed for diesel fuel vehicles equipped with an OBD-II port. This module interfaces directly with the vehicle's ECU to optimize performance through real-time adjustments based on multiple data inputs, including throttle position, RPM, and coolant temperature. With six selectable power levels, the Derringer allows users to tailor their driving experience, providing significant torque and power gains across the entire RPM range.
The module features a compact housing for easy concealment and a simple plug-and-play installation process, ensuring that it can be easily removed for dealer service. Active safety measures protect the engine and powertrain while correcting MAP and FRP parameters for accurate readings. The Derringer also includes an LED status indicator and is compatible with the IDash 1.8 DataMonster or SuperGauge for on-the-fly level changes.
With the ability to read and clear diagnostic trouble codes, the Banks Power Derringer not only enhances performance but also provides essential diagnostic capabilities. This product is compliant with California regulations, ensuring it meets emissions standards for all 50 states. The software and calibration can be updated via a microSD card, making it a versatile and future-proof solution for diesel vehicle tuning.
