The Banks Power Derringer Performance Module is designed to optimize your vehicle's performance through advanced tuning capabilities. This module features up to six adjustable power levels, allowing users to select their preferred power output on-the-fly using the Idash interface. With a simple plug-and-play installation, the Derringer connects seamlessly to your vehicle's engine sensors and OBD-II diagnostic bus, ensuring real-time communication with the engine's ECM for optimal performance adjustments.
The Derringer is dyno calibrated to enhance torque and power gains across the entire RPM range, starting from idle and continuing through to the shift point in each gear. It actively monitors various data inputs, including throttle position, RPM, vehicle speed, and coolant temperature, to ensure safe and effective tuning. The module's active safety health monitoring circuitry checks its status 100 times per second, providing peace of mind by bypassing itself if any issues are detected, thus returning the vehicle to stock power.
In addition to its performance benefits, the Derringer is engineered to protect your engine and transmission with features like ActiveSafety and TransCommand. It also includes a real-time bar graph display on the Idash, allowing users to visualize the added power.
